(G.N.V.F) Is a Non-profit organization, which invites and place volunteers/Teachers from different parts of the world to teach and organize extra curriculum activities and also engage in Community projects in Ghanaian schools, both in the countryside and urban areas. This initiative is describe as a "Distinctive Approach To Educational Development In Ghana"
Information About Ghana
Although Ghana is a heaven on earth, there are many people here who live in poverty and are crying out for the kindness and care of international volunteers. Come and make a difference at the same time that you soak up the laid-back tropical scene. Team up with local teachers and teach kids subjects such as basic computer skills, drama, environmental awareness,extra - curriculum and health.
You will be warmly welcomed into the communities in which you teach. You'll be blown away by how keen these kids are to learn – not only the formal subjects but also about your world and life back home.
As you mix with local teachers you will forge strong bonds of friendship as you benefit from exposure to a completely different way of life.
To add to the joys of this programme, Ghana itself will take your breath away with her balmy beauty and mellow lifestyle. This is a playground with activities to suit every taste: from elephant safaris and rainforest canopy tours to historical buildings, vibrant bars and a chilled-out beach culture down at the coast, wherever you end up you are bound to have the time of your life.
